Before I came to New Zealand, I was anxious about everything. Will I make new friends here? Will I enjoy this summer trip? Everything turned out great and I made many new friends. At Marcellin College, everything was very different from Thailand because the way they learn was different from my school but everyone was very nice and kind.

"My experience teaching in Thailand was hands down the best year of my life! I initially signed up to teach abroad for only one term, but ended up staying longer because I completely fell in love with the students, culture, and beauty of Thailand. Moving to Thailand was a big step out of my comfort zone, but all of the OEG staff was so welcoming and really eased my nerves upon arrival. I learned so much at orientation and ended up meeting some of my best friends along the way! I could not have done it without OEG. Living in Thailand was one of the most rewarding and amazing opportunities I have ever had. If you are even halfway considering it, I say go for it! You only regret the chances you didn’t take.
